Geographical Information Systems
We have experience in surveying and mapping, combined with Geographic Information System-GIS applications and remote sensing competence. Our team of experts has extensive experience in the global emerging issues pertaining to environmental interaction with development acquired both at the individual consultant and at firm’s level in East and Central African countries.
We have participated and contributed in the development of spatial planning frameworks for managing water resources in Kenya and have also participated in spatial planning processes in several regions in the country.
These projects have specifically supported planning and management decision making through the development of mapping and GIS applications for management and implementation for various sectors such as health, agriculture, roads and education.
Environmental management information systems
We also recognize the need for developing tools for environmental management, concentrating on the interaction between environmental resources and hazards, and development activities. Setting up Management Information System, Basic mapping, thematic mapping- applying mapping to analysis of environmental issues and decision-making, sensitivity/suitability mapping, Environmental management frameworks and Information outreach.

Geo-Spatial Data
We recognize Geographic Information as critical in promoting social and economic development and protection of the environment and therefore we provide services of creation of spatial data infrastructure to facilitate support of public and private sector applications and decision-making. We adopt a logical framework of surveying and mapping in achieving these objectives. The approach is organized around two components; Mapping and GIS application as tools to handle and process the spatial and non-spatial data and a database and information modules related to the environmental resources and cross cutting issues affecting the long-term growth and development of these resources.
GIS provides answers to three typical questions; Where, What and how it is and is applied as a computerized system that facilitates the phases of data entry, data analysis and data presentation mainly relating to geo-referenced data. It helps to represent and understand the natural and man-made environment.
Our services under GIS include Integration, distribution and utilization of geospatial data, digital ortho-photo mapping, satellite imagery and remote sensing, surveying, data conversion and GIS application and visualization.
Monitoring and evaluation and impact assessments
We have an in house team that is experienced in monitoring and evaluation as well as carrying out beneficiary impact assessments in a varied number of complex projects across Sub Sahara Africa. These projects are in diverse sectors including agriculture, education, health and roads.
